Johnson Ranch Backflow Testing
Offer Ended May 24, 2025
GBRA requires all Johnson Ranch residents with a lawn irrigation system to have their backflow prevention assembly tested annually.
This year, Seeger Water is offering a discounted rate to JR residents. Offer ended on May 24, 2025.
Backflow Testing Information
After you signup, we will add you to the list of residents who we will be performing backflow tests for. We will accept signups thru May 24th (hard deadline) and we will begin backflow testing on May 26th. We expect it will take about a week to get through everyone.
After we test your backflow assembly, we will place a white flag at your water meter to let you know that it is completed. You will also receive an email confirmation.
The backflow test is $65.00 and we require payment at time of signup. We will not perform backflow testing on unpaid accounts. *If you have any trouble with the payment form, please call or text us at 830-624-9000.
Seeger Water will file your backflow test report with GBRA so there’s no action needed from you after you signup.
This is a single pass/fail test only. The $65.00 does not include repair labor or materials, nor does it apply as an account credit if your assembly fails. If your backflow fails inspection, we will email you a quote for repair.
UPDATE - 06/09/2025 11:10am
We have completed backflow testing in Johnson Ranch. Only 6 backflow assemblies failed and all 6 homeowners have already been contacted.
As of June 16th, we are working to email out everyone’s copy of their test report. If you have not received a copy of your report and would like one, please let us know at backflow@seegerwater.com. We file the reports with GBRA so the copy is just for your records - you do not need to send it to GBRA.
UPDATE - 05/26/2025 10:10pm
We have closed signups and have mapped all customers who signed up and paid. Those who signed up but did not pay WILL NOT be tested. Pending weather, we are expecting to begin backflow testing tomorrow morning at 6am.
Our trucks are equipped with flashing blue and yellow lights and our technicians will be wearing reflective vests for safety and visibility. After your backflow test is completed, we will place a white yard flag at your water meter to let you know we’ve been there.
Some FAQs from last year:
We will file your backflow test report with GBRA and email you a copy for your records. If you have a white flag and have not received a copy of your test report and would like a copy, send an email with the service address to backflow@seegerwater.com.
If you do not have a white flag, we have not tested your backflow yet. We had a lot more people signup than expected so we think it’ll take about 7-10 days to get through the whole neighborhood. We thank you for your patience. The GBRA due date is June 30th so we are ahead of deadline.
If you missed the signup, we’re sorry! We tried our best to get the word out the best we could. Since this is our extremely busy season for irrigation work, we won’t extend this offer again until April/May 2026.
